## The company Escape builds AI agents that find and exploit vulnerabilities in modern applications, APIs and microservices — offensive security automation. Product surface: ASM, business-logic-aware DAST, AI Pentesting entering GA this year. Y Combinator W23, $18M Series A closed in March 2026 led by Balderton Capital. Customers include Zoom, Schibsted, Wiz, Pandadoc. 40 people split between Paris and NYC, scaling to 80 in the next 12 months. Engineering: 21 engineers, 4 technical leads, 4 squads. ## The role Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Product & Platform), Paris (75002), 2 days remote per week. A team of three owns the data model at the heart of every Escape product: the schema representing the attack surface and everything the AI agents accumulate across engagements, plus the GraphQL API and product UI that deliver it to customers. ## What you'll do - Design and evolve the schema representing tens of thousands of assets, millions of findings and multi-identity context. - Turn offensive AI research output into product: Svelte frontend, GraphQL API, integrations, real-time data refresh. - Push PostgreSQL to its edge: query optimization, index design, pagination, caching, low-latency search over millions of records. - Build AI-native workflows: guided triage, assisted remediation, signal extraction from noisy scan data. - Drive architecture: data modeling, system design, GraphQL schema, with a stated path to Tech Lead. ## Stack Frontend: Svelte + TypeScript, GraphQL client. Backend: Node.js, GraphQL (Yoga + Pothos), Prisma, PostgreSQL, Kafka. Infra: AWS, GitLab CI, Grafana. Adjacent: Python (AI/ML), Go (network tooling). ## Profile - 5+ years building production web apps, strong on both frontend and backend. - Deep TypeScript knowledge. - Proven experience designing (not just consuming) GraphQL schemas. - Product, craft and design sensibility. - Strong ownership; able to explain technical tradeoffs to non-engineering stakeholders. Nice to have: Svelte expertise, security/DevSecOps background, early-stage startup experience. ## Compensation and benefits €75K–€90K base depending on seniority and scope, plus 0.05% BSPCE.
